This is our version of the classic Pitts S12. This semiscale model 
is extremely easy to fly and very agile
, therefore this plane is ideal for novice pilots but also intermediate or even advanced pilots who are looking for a fun plane to make some aerobatics. The design is compatible with foamy filaments, this option is highly recommendable for less experienced pilots but the model has been designed and tested to be printed only with standard PLA, even using this material the wing loading is more than acceptable for an RC plane (40g/dm²) and much more adequate for windy days.
The tension wires (fishing line) used on the wings are not just decorative, they are working in the same manner they do in the full scale model, that solution allowed us to avoid the use of carbon fiber tubes which saves weight and money. The model has a perfect size to be easily transported in your car without the need to disassemble the wings. Anyway the wings and landing gear are detachable mainly to allow you to replace them in a crash event. 
Special mention deserves the new landing gear locking mechanism developed and patented by Eclipson airplanes, the system is fast, simple and effective.
