This is our 3D printed version of a legend, the North American P-51D. The main goal of this project since the beginning was to be able to offer a Mustang with a 3D printed, functional and strong retractable landing gear concept. This way our clients will not need to buy the expensive commercial aluminium retracts. The challenge was huge, we worked hard and tested several concepts until we finally found a good solution.

In addition to this the design is optimized to be printed with LW-PLA: The numbers of travels are minimum allowing you to improve surface quality, reduce stringing and reduce the risk of clogging your nozzle
